Pressotherapy (Lymphatic Drainage)

Detox Your Body and Boost Your Immunity

Pressotherapy, also known as lymphatic drainage, is a non-invasive treatment that uses air pressure to gently massage the body. A specialized device inflates a suit that rhythmically compresses and decompresses the arms, legs, and abdomen over a 30-minute session. Our suit also features infrared technology, allowing for optional heat to be added during the treatment for an extra boost to its benefits!

Benefits of Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is a cutting-edge treatment that enhances the benefits of traditional manual lymphatic massages by incorporating advanced technology. This treatment utilizes a central control unit that delivers mechanical stimulation to the arms, legs, and abdominal area, providing a controlled compression massage. This process activates lymphatic drainage, reduces water retention, and combats cellulite. As a result, the body is better equipped to expel toxins and waste, leading to improved overall health.

In addition to the compression massage, our pressotherapy devices feature FAR infrared technology. This technology increases blood flow to targeted skin areas, promotes fat metabolism, and enhances the transportation of oxygen and nutrients.  FAR infrared heats the body from the inside out, targeting fat deposits 4 to 7 cm beneath the skin's surface where stubborn fat and main blood vessels are located. This deep heating not only aids in fat reduction but also improves circulation, leaving your entire body feeling refreshed and energized after each session.

The primary goal of pressotherapy is to promote fluid transport within the body, normalize venous circulation, and eliminate lymphatic stasis. By improving circulation and liquid drainage, this treatment effectively reduces the sensation of tired, swollen, and heavy legs while enhancing skin elasticity. Experience this non-invasive, painless detoxifying treatment that rejuvenates your beauty and protects your body from the inside out.

Preparation

Arrive in comfortable clothing suitable for sweating if you desire to activate the heat of the suit. If you don't have appropriate attire, our technician can provide disposable clothing upon request. Hydrate with a minimum of 8 ounces of water to prepare for an increase in core body temperature.

Set up the suite

The technician will help you get into the garment (which looks sort of like an astronaut’s space suit). This will be wrapped around the legs, your midsection & arms.

Monitor your comfort

The garment has tubes on it that are hooked up to a computerized air pressure machine. The garment will inflate with air and you will feel a squeezing sensation that should feel like pressure, not pain. Listen to your body throughout the session and adjust as necessary. If you experience discomfort, discontinue the session and inform our staff.

Post-treatment

A typical session will last for 30. Your body may feel light afterward, and anecdotally, some people feel they have to urinate right away, which could be due to the movement of water in the body. You can get pressotherapy done as often as twice a week.
